What we provide

Medium term supported accommodation for women with dependent children, who are in recovery from alcohol and other drugs.

Support and understanding in a relaxed environment.

Each client will be assigned a Case Manager who will assist in achieving their support needs and goals.

Referral to services/agencies that will assist in the support and well being of the women or children.

Access to information and resources about community groups, programs, parenting counseling etc.

Assistance in securing accommodation once leaving the Drug & Alcohol Women's Network DAWN.

Support in staying in recovery.

A worker will provide information on parenting and children, as well as referral to groups/programs etc, to assist in positive parenting.

Groups for women and children.

Activities and outings.

Yard maintenance and repairs to properties.
Who we cannot house
-
Women on the methodone/subutex program.

Women and children requiring emergency accommodation.

Women and children want supported housing.
-
Families e.g. that include husbands, fathers and partners.

Young women under the age of 18 yrs.

Women without children.
